Eddy Farm Volunteer Agreement
Thank you for registering to participate in the Eddy Farm Volunteer Program. After you fill out the form, please click "Submit". We will contact you based on your registration. If you have any questions, please send us a message at (646) 235-8038. Please keep your registration confirmation email, so that you can edit your registration by clicking "Edit Your Response" if there are any changes. Then resubmit the form.
Agreement Terms
By submitting this Eddy Farm Volunteer Registration Form (hereafter referred to as the Form), you agree to volunteer to perform the following work without any compensation during the volunteering period:
- Building or room cleaning or other housekeeping work
- Kitchen and dining room service
- Landscaping maintenance
- Transportation
- All other work assigned by the Eddy Farm management
Health and Insurance
By submitting the Form, you agree to the following:
- You will be responsible for your own healthcare during the volunteering period. Eddy Farm or CCHC will not provide any health insurance or compensation.
- No taxes will be withheld by Eddy Farm or CCHC during the volunteering period.
- No workers' compensation insurance will be provided during the volunteering period.
Agreement Activation and Duration
By submitting the Form, you agree that:
- The volunteer agreement will not take effect until the Eddy Farm management notifies you in writing.
- The agreement shall not exceed a maximum period of three months. To extend, you must reregister the Form and obtain written approval from the Eddy Farm management.
Termination of Volunteer Status
You agree to the following:
- You may terminate your volunteer status anytime, but you must leave the premises of Eddy Farm within three days and notify the management.
- The Eddy Farm management has the right to terminate this volunteer agreement at any time. Upon termination, you must leave the premises with your luggage within seven days.
- An absence of three days without written permission will lead to automatic termination of your volunteer status, requiring you to vacate the premises.
Room and Belongings
Upon your departure from the Eddy Farm premises:
- The room assigned to you will automatically be returned to Eddy Farm management.
- The management has the right to dispose of all materials and goods left in the room.
Meals and Transportation
By submitting the Form, you understand that:
- Eddy Farm management will provide free meals and lodging, which do not constitute compensation for the volunteer work performed.
- Eddy Farm management will reimburse transportation costs (including fuel and toll), provided you submit all receipts. The reimbursement shall not exceed $25.00/day.
