Eddy Farm Retreat & Conference Center is located on Delaware River, near where New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania meet. Eddy Farm is a piece of paradise on earth! Just as an eddy flows upstream and comes back downstream, you will find yourself coming back to Eddy Farm again and again.
Our Mission
For the past 40 years, CCHC(Chinese Christian Herald Crusades) has been working to build “Points of Contact” in communities through various programs, looking for the sheep outside the pen and leading them to know God by way of building up friendship and establishing faith.
As a Christian retreat center we are committed to excellence in providing accommodations, programs and facilities for retreat, worship, prayer, teaching, counseling, banquets, conferences and recreational activities focused on the Bible as our standard for living.
How is it called “Eddy Farm”
The name “Eddy Farm” comes from an eddy in the Delaware River right by which Eddy Farm is located. An eddy is a place where on one side of the river the water flows downstream while on the other side it flows upstream and in the center it is still. The eddy reminds us of life, that we often are going full speed ahead, and sometimes God needs to turn us around and bring us to a place of stillness where we can hear His voice. An eddy can also be a place by which people get pushed ashore and therefore be saved from being rushed down by the downstream water flow.
From A Historic Resort to A Well-Facilitated Retreat Center
Since taking over during the covid pandemic this new ministry at Eddy Farm, we have been blessed to be able to improve and update the infrastructure and facility of the historic retreat center, including paving the new road, changing all the ac/heat pumps in all the bedrooms, conference rooms and cafeteria, installing new flooring and updating the bathrooms, etc.
